Pulwama, March 19, 2018 (KNO): District Development Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar along with district officers today conducted review meeting cum Public Darbar on implementation of Chief Minister’s directions for Pulwama district at DC office Complex Pulwama.
The Darbar was attended by Additional Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development , Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, Irrigation and Flood Control, besides district and sectoral officers, large no deputations from the different areas of the District . The house was informed that the purpose of the Meeting Cum Durbar was to see whether the directions as passed by the Chief Ministers which she had made to the general public during the recent public durbar held at Pulwama in the month of September 2017 have been implemented in the same spirit as desired by Chief Minister.
The house was informed that maximum directions passed by Chief Minister have been implemented and some decisions are under various phases of implementation and will be completed in due course of time. During the meeting detailed feedback was also sought from the representatives of various delegations which were invited in the meeting. By and large people were satisfied with the progress and achievements made so far under Chief Minister’s directions for Pulwama district.
The District Development Commissioner stressed on time-bound completion of all the CM's directions on priority. Calling for complete synergy between various Line Departments involved in infrastructure building, DDC stressed on strict adherence to timelines for completion of all on-going projects and accordingly set a deadline of 31st March 2018 for the completion of all the CM commitments which are under various phases of implementation.
The public appreciated the district administration for such kind of unique initiative where people which are at the receiving end have been given chance to come forward and get involved in the governance. While praising the DDC Pulwama and his team of officers, people said that a perceptible change has occurred at ground level and the administration has now become more responsive and transparent.(KNO)
